Concept Art: VFX Ship Landing

Concept painting for a school project.
In groups, we thought up any kind of ship, docking somewhere.
My group did a flying ship, almost like a pirate ship. It has solar panels on the sails and the oars. It docks into a city in the mountains. The city is built right into the side of the mountain itself and off in the distance, you see more buildings, with bridges connecting each section of the city.

I've never painted a landscape before, so this was a really great experience. So much layering of colour. Especially for the sky omg! o_O
